I love the location. Right in the middle of everything! I walked to my work, which was near McPherson Square, and then I walked to meet my friends up in Kalorama Park, then went to 14th Street for dinner. I could walk everywhere! Unfortunately, I probably won't be staying here again. I was initially pulled in by the low prices (or should I say, low"er" compared to the others in that area), but was disappointed to find a bunch of hidden fees that they charge you when you finally show up to the hotel. The place also didn't have a fridge or microwave in the room and the AC didn't work.

The Beacon hotel is easy to find when driving from the 495. It’s in a very nice and safe area; it’s close to downtown; about $12 in uber to reach Georgetown for instance. The hotel is beautiful and welcoming.

位置非常好，去景區和聯合車站步行都能到，坐地鐵也很方便。建築材料耐用的老酒店，設施有點陳舊。附近餐館不多，或者是我們沒找到，但酒店公用區域有微波爐，可以在超市買了食物自己熱著吃。有洗浴液，浴巾毛巾乾淨衞生。熱水很好，花傘也給力。

房間設施老舊，完全不隔音，空調噪音很大，還有更大噪音不明原因，估計是電梯，太嘈雜了，電吹風已生銹

I was so excited to stay here because it was recommended by a friend. The price was not bad for the location of the hotel.. The front desk receptionist are clueless pretty much. I told them that my air in my room didn’t work. The maintenance guy came to “fix” it but was very condescending about it. A day later the air stopped working again. The air was just blowing out fan air, no cold air in 95 degree weather. Parking was $60 plus $10 service fee. What they don’t tell you is there are multiple hidden fees with the parking. There is a garage fee and more service fees. I asked the front desk attendant there and he was VERY rude and did not want to help me. I will NEVER stay here again. It’s a glorified motel. Don’t even bother !

這個酒店非常不錯，我己經是多次入住了，步行到白宮和幾大博物館都是不算太遠或太累的距離。當我旅行回程時沒有訂到附近任何酒店，結果就在這裡的大廳待了整整一晚，酒店人員特別友善。還會再來！
